Lothian Country Buses services 104 & 113 will join the East Coast Buses family from Sunday 23 April expanding our East Lothian Network.
From this date, all Lothian Country Buses Single Fares, Day Tickets and Fare Zones will be withdrawn with Lothian Country Buses Ridacards for zones C & D continuing to be valid for travel in our zones C & D.
The withdrawal of Lothian Country Buses Fare Zones will see some new local fares in East Lothian, however we will be amending some of our tickets to ensure that all our services continue to provide great value for money.
Changes to tickets include:
- Our countyPLUS Day Ticket will now be valid on Lothian Buses day services and Edinburgh Trams (except Airport)
- Our go anywhere, anytime Network Day Ticket will still be valid in all zones for East Coast Buses, Lothian Buses, Airlink and Edinburgh Trams but also the following mornings NightHawk, NightBus and Airlink until 0430, replacing our current NightHawk return ticket which will be withdrawn.
Our Best Value tickets are still available to download on the TfEapp.com. These include a pack of 28 Adult county Day Tickets for £98 (travel for only £3.50 per day) and a pack of 28 Adult countyPLUS Day Tickets for £154 (travel for only £5.50 per day).
Changes to routes and timetables:
NEW Service X5 North Berwick – Edinburgh
Our new express service running Mondays to Fridays between North Berwick and the West End, with two journeys in the morning and two in the evening, with some additional off-peak journeys during the day.
NEW Service 106 Musselburgh – Haddington/Dunbar
A new service running between Musselburgh and Dunbar in the early morning and late evenings, along with hourly off-peak journeys on weekdays between Musselburgh and Haddington, making travel between Musselburgh and Dunbar easy.

Service 107 – route change
This service now includes additional peak-time journeys and is extended from Dunbar High Street to the ASDA superstore on Spott Road.
Service 113 – route change

We’re making some minor changes to services 124/X24 and our school routes (125/126/127).
